As a Licensed Clinical Therapist / Independent Licensed Therapist, you will provide effective treatment for a wide range of mental health conditions reflecting the diverse needs of our patients. Your responsibilities will involve various forms of behavioral and mental health treatments, including individual and group therapy, medication management, and intensive outpatient programs.

Primary Responsibilities :

  • Establish strong alliances with patients and collaborate with external providers for coordinated care.
  • Conduct comprehensive outpatient psychiatric evaluations with ongoing medication management.
  • Engage in enhancing the training experience for graduate students.
  • Screen and assess patients for prevalent mental health and substance abuse disorders.
  • Deliver tailored treatments for a variety of mental health conditions utilizing methods like cognitive behavioral therapy and dialectical behavioral therapy.
  • Monitor treatment response systematically, tracking clinical symptoms and potential treatment side effects.
  • Represent the practice in community presentations and educational lectures.
  • Maintain precise and current electronic medical records (Athena) along with clinical documentation, ensuring adherence to all regulatory requirements.

Required Qualifications :

  • Master's degree in psychology, social work, or a related counseling field.
  • Possession of a clear, active, and unrestricted license (LICSW, LMFT, LMHC) in the state of practice.
  • Preferred Qualifications :

  • At least 2 years of post-Master's professional clinical experience.
  • Proficiency in providing direct psychotherapy services to individuals and families.
  • Experience in professional communication and medical documentation using Excel, Outlook, and Athena RMS (or other EHRs).
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and in collaborative settings.
