Job descriptionJuris Doctorate and active Virginia / Maryland Bar license in good standing (required) 7–8 years of experience in foreclosure, default servicing, or creditors' rights litigation Admission to U.S. District and Bankruptcy Courts (preferred but not required) Ability to manage and prioritize a large, high-volume caseload Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local compliance related to foreclosure Ability to commute to the Rockville, MD office 2–3 days per week Experience drafting and reviewing pleadings for compliance with applicable laws Ability to interact with clients, opposing counsel, and internal team members professionally and strategically Comfortable attending hearings, status conferences, and managing court appearances Proven ability to analyze complex legal issues and propose creative, risk-mitigating solutions for clients Driven and organized, with the ability to work independently within a team-driven environment Background in title review, mortgage banking litigation, or bankruptcy proceedings Experience working with mortgage lenders, banks, or financial institutions Familiarity with loan servicing regulations, REO, and eviction litigation
