Litigation Attorney – Foreclosure

Requirements & Qualifications :
Juris Doctorate and active Virginia / Maryland Bar license in good standing (required)7–8 years of experience in foreclosure, default servicing, or creditors' rights litigationAdmission to U.S. District and Bankruptcy Courts (preferred but not required)Ability to manage and prioritize a large, high-volume caseloadStrong knowledge of federal, state, and local compliance related to foreclosureAbility to commute to the Rockville, MD office 2–3 days per weekMust Haves :
Experience drafting and reviewing pleadings for compliance with applicable lawsAbility to interact with clients, opposing counsel, and internal team members professionally and strategicallyComfortable attending hearings, status conferences, and managing court appearancesProven ability to analyze complex legal issues and propose creative, risk-mitigating solutions for clientsDriven and organized, with the ability to work independently within a team-driven environmentPreferred Background & Skills :
Background in title review, mortgage banking litigation, or bankruptcy proceedingsExperience working with mortgage lenders, banks, or financial institutionsFamiliarity with loan servicing regulations, REO, and eviction litigation
