Schedule / Shift 12-hour night shifts (typically 7 PM to 7 AM) with every other weekend and holiday requirements. Job Description We are seeking a dedicated PCU Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in progressive care settings and be proficient in telemetry. Our unit manages patients with various acute conditions requiring close monitoring. Responsibilities Monitor patients with cardiac diagnoses and those requiring closer observation, including managing insulin and cardiac drips. Perform essential nursing tasks such as starting IVs, conducting EKGs, and patient transport. Administer care to patients undergoing thrombolytic therapy, cardiac surgeries, and those experiencing ETOH withdrawal. Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience, with at least 1 year in a telemetry or progressive care unit. Current BLS and ACLS certifications required; NIHSS certification required prior to start. New York RN license, or proof of application, is required at time of submission.
