Job description

A healthcare network in New York City is actively seeking a licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join their Women's Health team at one of their primary care facilities in Brooklyn.

About the Opportunity :

  • Schedule : Monday to Friday (one Saturday per month required)
  • Hours : 8 : 30am to 5pm
  • Setting : Outpatient GYN
  • EMR : eClinicalWorks
  • Benefits : Medical & vision insurance (70% employer-paid); IRA retirement plan; 3 weeks PTO year one (4 weeks after year one); and, Malpractice insurance included

Responsibilities :

  • Routine women's health exams
  • Pap smears, pelvic exams, STI testing / treatment
  • Contraceptive counseling and procedures (IUD / Nexplanon)
  • In-office biopsies and lab specimen collection

    • Qualifications :

  • 2+ years of Women's Health experience
  • Active NYS Nurse Practitioner (NP)
  • Previous experience in an Outpatient role / setting

    • Desired Skills :

    WHNP-BC certification
