Key Job Details – Cath Lab RN Travel Assignment

Job Title : Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN) – Travel

Location : Fort Walton Beach, FL 32547 (Florida healthcare jobs)

Assignment Type : Travel Nursing

Setting : Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (7 holding beds)

Start Date : October 6, 2025

End Date : January 5, 2026

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : 7 : 00 AM – 5 : 30 PM, Monday–Friday (12-hour days)

Hours per Week : 36

On-Call : STEMI call approx. 10–12 days / month (self-scheduling)

Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $1680 - $1800

Cath Lab RN Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida or compact state

Minimum 1 year of recent Cath Lab RN experience

Current ACLS and BLS certifications (American Heart Association preferred)

Proficient in cardiac procedures : PCI, PFO, Impella, IABP, TAVR, Atherectomy, R / LHC, DCCV, TEE

Experience with GE Innova, Impella, MacLab, and Meditech systems preferred

Strong teamwork, clinical, and communication skills

Cath Lab RN Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures

Assist with advanced cardiac procedures : PCI, TAVR, PFO closure, atherectomy, and device implants

Monitor and manage patients pre-, intra-, and post-procedure in a 7-bed holding area

Operate and troubleshoot specialized Cath Lab equipment (GE Innova, Impella, IABP)

Document patient care accurately using MacLab and Meditech systems

Participate in STEMI call rotation and float as needed within EP and Stress Lab departments

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and dress code (surgical scrubs provided)
