Responsibilities

Provide critical care to ICU patients, ensuring high-quality medical attention.

Monitor patient conditions and report changes to the medical team promptly.

Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.

Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.

Maintain accurate and detailed patient records for effective communication.

Participate in continuous professional development and training opportunities.

Ensure compliance with hospital policies and healthcare regulations.

Educate patients and families on health conditions and care plans.

Utilize hospital resources efficiently to optimize patient care.

Contribute to a positive work environment by supporting team members.

Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.

Adapt to changing patient needs and hospital protocols swiftly.

Experience / Qualifications

Current RN license in New York State.

Minimum of 2 years ICU experience in a hospital setting.

Commitment to continuous professional development and learning.

Strong critical thinking skills for quick decision-making.

Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.

Flexibility to adapt to changing patient needs and protocols.

Demonstrated ability to meet performance targets and goals.
