Job descriptionStart Date : 06 / 01 / 2025 End Date : Ongoing Coverage Type : Clinic + Call Schedule : Weekdays : 8a-5p onsite, 5p-8a pager call - Weekends : Sat 8a-Mon 8a call Call Details : Beeper call; 15-min phone response, 30-min onsite Call Ratio : 1 : 3 Call Back % : 20% EMR : Athena & Cerner Board Certified Active NC license BLS Clean record Scope : General GI, including emergency endoscopy and inpatient consultations Procedures (preferred) : Upper GI endoscopy with biopsy, foreign body removal, bleeder fulguration, injection of varices, PEG - ERCP (diagnostic & therapeutic) - Esophageal dilatation / manometry - Small bowel biopsy - Lower GI endoscopy, sigmoidoscopy (flexible / rigid), colonoscopy with biopsy and polyp excision - Endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) - Liver biopsy - Sengstaken / Blakemore tube management Support : Nursing and hospital staff (details not specified) Rates : Facility is accepting bids Malpractice : Provided Travel : Reimbursed
