Job Summary :

Under the direction of the Manager Brokers Assistants and Brokers Assistant(s) and other assigned supervisors perform a variety of duties related to the solicitation and placement of insurance policies for M.J. Halls sub-producers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Take direction from and assist designated Brokers Assistant and Lead Broker(s) in all aspects.

Study and learn about the commercial lines insurance industry with emphasis on Excess & Surplus Lines sector.

Complete formal industry courses for technical knowledge

Gain further knowledge and networking by attending industry professional training schools

Work as a full time Clerical Assistant to gain knowledge of carrier operations.

As an option for greater professional development and credibility obtain certain professional designations.

Education and / or Experience

Preferred : Two or more years of College and completion of some insurance courses such as INS21 CIC or CISR AU or CPCU

Technology Skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 applications (Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook)

Previous knowledge of Microsoft Teams and Agency Management Systems

Knowledge of TIF documents
