Senior Traffic Engineer

Dewberry is currently seeking a Senior Traffic Engineer to support our growing Transportation design practice. This position will be based in our Tampa, FL office. Responsibilities

• Serve as Engineer-of-Record, Senior Engineer, and / or Project Manager, depending on project specifics, for various Traffic sub-disciplines (Signing & Marking, Signals, ITS, and / or Lighting)
• Perform traffic modeling and alternatives analysis
• Collaborate with other Transportation Discipline Leaders and Project Managers
• Prepare marketing materials and serve as Traffic Lead for project pursuits
• Oversee Traffic design activities, and mentor less-experienced engineers
• Perform QC reviews of design analyses and plans prepared by Staff and by other consultants
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with transportation clients across Florida
