Job description

Who You Are :

Versar Global Solutions is seeking a full-time Systems Admin.

  • This position is contingent upon award.

What You'll Do :

  • Manage day-to-day system operations, monitor performance, and perform maintenance and repairs.
  • Maintain records of system downtime and equipment inventory; train staff on software and hardware usage.
  • Perform troubleshooting as needed.
  • Establish, maintain, and manage user accounts; install, modify, and maintain systems and utility software.
  • Diagnose and recommend fixes for hardware and software problems, including all subcomponents of the system.
  • Ensure stable operation of software systems and network connections through planning, development, installation, configuration, support, and optimization.
  • Analyze and resolve software and connectivity issues.
  • Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software.
  • Assist in system design, development, and implementation.

    • What You'll Bring :

  • High School diploma or GED and a four-year degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Minimum of seven years of professional experience in systems administration, with five years in Microsoft Windows client and server OS.
  • At least five years of experience with electronic security systems, particularly Lenel OnGuard; certification as Lenel OnGuard Certified Expert (LCE) preferred.
  • Secret clearance required.
  • Proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
  • Successful completion of pre-employment screenings, including background check, MVR, and drug screen.
  • Compliance with company drug and alcohol policy.
  • Legal authorization to work in the US or ability to obtain it by start date.

    • Certifications :

  • Certification meeting DoD 8570.01-M IAT-II Information Assurance Technical (IAT) and Computing Environment standards.
  • Proof of certification must be provided before granting privileged access.

    • Compensation :

    Expected Salary : $93,000 - $104,000 per year.

    Versar Global Solutions may offer additional benefits depending on qualifications and circumstances.

    Location Requirements :

    Primarily onsite in Columbus, OH.
