Part-Time Courier Position

A vacancy for a part-time courier exists within the Administrative Services Division of the Chester County Intermediate Unit. This position is responsible for the daily distribution of materials and equipment throughout Chester County and beyond, ensuring proper care of items handled during transport. Each day the supervisor assigns the courier a specific route with items to be picked up and / or delivered. A courier may be asked to cover additional stops in the absence of another courier.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Valid driver's license and a safe driving record is required
• Knowledge of Chester County area
• Previous experience in shipping and receiving is desirable
• Experience with, or the ability to learn, necessary computer and software skills required

Duties and Responsibilities

Schedule : Monday through Friday, up to 6 hours per day

2025-2026 Rate : $15.95 to $16.78 per hour (based upon relevant experience) Equal Opportunity Employer
