About The Position
Job Title : Occupational Therapist

Hours per Shift : 40 hours per week
Experience : 2 years of licensed experience in acute inpatient or rehab experience. First time travelers are accepted.
License : State licensure required
Certifications : BLS required
Must-Have : Experience in treating ortho-total joints, neuro-strokes, and occasional brain injuries.
Description :
The department treats 10 to 12 patients per day.
Common diagnoses include orthopedic conditions, neuro-strokes, and general ICU patients.
The role will involve working in acute inpatient and rehab settings.
The traveler may cover the ICU depending on experience and need.
Electronic medical records are managed through an EMR system.
A manager will be available on each shift.
There are rehab aides available; certified occupational therapy assistants are not present.
Scheduling consists of four 10-hour shifts from 0730 to 1800.
Self-scheduling is not available.
Rotating weekends may be required unless assigned a regular weekend schedule.
Holiday work may be necessary as needed.
Scrubs are permitted, but must not match colors of other departments.
The unit typically provides 2-3 days of unit-specific orientation for new staff.
