Application Support Manager (Austin)

We are seeking an IT Manager / Application Support Manager for a large Insurance client. Our client is in a growth phase and currently requires a hands-on technical professional who can manage multiple responsibilities before processes become siloed. This individual should be capable of working with internal teams and external vendors while being technically strong enough to perform or troubleshoot tasks when needed.

Salar Range : 130-140K + Bonus

Overview :

Were seeking a highly organized and technically adept Enterprise Applications Manager to lead and support a suite of critical business applications, with a strong focus on Oracle and Citrix enterprise systems. This role is ideal for someone with a blend of accounting knowledge, technical integration experience, and exceptional communication skills. Youll be joining a small but impactful team of three, with the opportunity to grow into a Director-level position.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead and support Oracle enterprise applications, especially AP / AR and OIC integrations.
• Oversee and manage a portfolio of 57 enterprise applications including :
• Oracle
• Microsoft O365
• Citrix
• Dayforce (HRIS)
• Jira & Workflow Tools
• AWD (Advanced Workflow for Insurance)
• Citrix (managed by a third-party)
• RingCentral
• Act as a liaison between IT and business units, driving collaboration and ensuring alignment across departments.
• Manage vendor relationships and third-party service providers.
• Provide strategic direction and hands-on support where needed, without deep technical immersion.
• Maintain and improve organizational workflows and application performance.
• Communicate effectively across departments to herd cats and drive initiatives forward.
