    • REQUIRED PROCEDURES

  • Consults and management of infectious disease patients
  • Inpatient rounding and follow-up consults
  • Outpatient coverage as needed

    • JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Licenses : Active Maryland license required (IMLC not accepted)
  • Board : Board Certified in Infectious Disease
  • DEA : Active DEA Certification required
  • Certifications : CSR License required
  • Experience : Minimum 1 year
  • Other Qualifications : Proficiency with Meditech and Epic EMR

    • DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Round on inpatients and respond to consult requests
  • Provide infectious disease coverage Monday through Friday, 8a 5p
  • Manage average 2 admissions during call hours
  • Cover inpatient and outpatient infectious disease needs during provider PTO
  • Collaborate with hospital staff and other specialties as needed
  • Work independently as the sole covering physician
