American Express Travel Related Services Company, Inc. seeks Managers, Finance Risk ID & Assessment to coordinate risk-related initiatives across Finance by developing project plans, setting timelines, and tracking deliverables to enhance risk identification and control activities. Drive the execution of Process Self Risk Assessments (PRSAs) and build of Risk and Control Self Assessments (RCSAs), including scheduling, stakeholder coordination, and alignment with regulatory updates. Project-manage the design and rollout of risk testing and quality assurance programs as project deliverables to ensure compliance with internal and external standards. Drive project-level identification of high-risk areas through coordinated quality assurance reviews and data-driven process testing. Oversee the development of thematic risk reports that synthesize key findings, trends, and root causes for presentation to senior Finance leadership. Direct cross-functional transformation projects within Finance, including RCSA design and second line integration efforts, by managing scope, resources, and implementation milestones. Facilitate knowledge-sharing initiatives across business units by packaging project insights, best practices, and lessons learned for enterprise-wide application. Position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Administration, or a related quantitative field, and 3 years of experience designing and executing risk identification, assessment, and testing programs across financial functions. Experience must include 3 years of experience with each of the following : assessing risk in a structured program, such as PRSA and RCSA; leading projects involving multiple business units, such as Finance, Audit, and Compliance; understanding regulatory expectations and supporting compliance and audit processes, such as SEC, OCC and FRB; designing quality assurance reviews and testing protocols; translating complex analyses into insights for both technical and non-technical audiences, including executive stakeholders; developing onboarding materials, conducting trainings, and mentoring within a risk and analytics team; identifying process gaps and implementing improvements in a regulatory setting; and analyzing complex data using Excel, Tableau, and Sisense to identify patterns and business trends.
