Account Executive — YC-Backed DevTools Infrastructure (San Francisco)
We’re working with a fast‑scaling (Series A) developer‑focused start‑up that’s just crossed multi‑million ARR through product‑lefr growth. Backed by top‑tier investors and founded by ex‑engineers from leading distributed‑systems companies, they’re building a next‑generation cloud platform that helps software teams deliver faster.
The Opportunity
They’re hiring the Account Executives to join their go‑to‑market team — two hires who will partner directly with the founding team to shape sales strategy, messaging, and process from day one.
You’ll own the entire sales cycle : self‑sourcing pipeline, running deeply technical discovery, and closing six‑figure usage deals. This is a genuine ground‑floor role with the freedom (and expectation) to experiment, iterate, and help define how the company sells.
- 1× Enterprise AE — able to navigate complex, multi‑stakeholder deals across large engineering organisations.
- 1× Mid‑Market AE — a rising seller ready to progress fast and own $40k–$100k+ ACVs.
What You’ll Do
Build and manage your own pipeline (c.50% outbound, 50% inbound).Sell directly to engineering and DevOps leaders — people who value technical depth and credibility.Partner with founders on pricing models, playbooks, and early GTM tooling.Contribute to landing the company’s first major enterprise logos.What You’ll Bring
Experience selling technical products to developers — ideally DevTools, infrastructure, or database platforms.Consistent 100%+ quota attainment and a track record of excellence (President’s Club, promotion history, etc.).High energy, intellectual curiosity, and comfort in a fast‑moving, resource‑light environment.Bonus : entrepreneurial mindset or experience building sales process in an early‑stage business.Compensation & Progression
