LocumJobsOnline is working with Wellhart, LLC to find a qualified Emergency Medicine NP in Springville, New York, 14141!

About The Position

We are seeking an Emergency Medicine Nurse Practitioner for a 36-day locum tenens assignment in New York. This opportunity begins on Jan 1, 2026, and features overnight 12-hour shifts from 7 pm to 7 am, scheduled monthly and ongoing. The nurse practitioner will independently cover the emergency department with support from an on-call emergency physician, playing a vital role in patient management and admissions.

Responsibilities and Duties

Independently cover the emergency department with access to an on-call emergency physician

Manage the core emergency department, including patient evaluation and treatment

Assist with placement of inpatient orders and management of admissions

Provide procedural care as required

Utilize trauma experience if applicable (preferred, not required)

Additional Information

Must have a valid New York nurse practitioner license

Procedural experience is required

Trauma experience is preferred but not required
