Job Description
Plans, organizes, manages, and facilitates patient safety and quality improvement activities for coordinated statewide impact with aims to achieve zero defects, optimize clinical effectiveness, and enhance patient and family experience in health care.
Job Responsibility
- Responsible for planning, organizing, and implementing activities of patient experience, clinical effectiveness, and patient safety together to improve quality in health care.
- Collaborates with various facilities, service lines to assess compliance and develop compliance improvement strategies and measurement; identifies existing compliance processes that represent "best practices" for use throughout the organization.
- Monitors improvement areas such as hospital acquired conditions, readmissions and obstetrical harm, physician engagement, patient / family engagement, and front-line workforce engagement.
- Implements processes to create rapid cycle change and advance patient safety culture in hospitals.
- Leads / facilitates teams or workgroups to develop processes to meet new or challenging accreditation requirements.
- Provides education centrally as well as on-site consisting of ongoing education related to standards, elements of performance, and scoring, tracer techniques, and relevant focus areas for accrediting agencies.
- Develops and disseminates reference material including newsletters, updates, communications, and memory aids.
- Facilitates / develops policies and procedures that comply with standards and Federal and State regulations and requirements.
- Oversees / maintains CSR team site; coordinates Performance Measurement activities related to Clinical Contracts.

Job Qualification
