Pharmacy Technician (Shift Differential)

Work Location :

97 McAlister Farm Rd, Portland, ME 04103, USA

Pay : $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Shift Requirements :

5 days per week with rotating weekends
Weekdays : 12 : 30 PM – 9 : 00 PM (Mon–Fri)
Rotating weekends : 10 : 00 AM – 6 : 30 PM
Hours per Day : 8
Hours per Week : 40

Certifications / Licenses :

Maine Pharmacy Technician License (required)

Key Responsibilities

Fill prescriptions under pharmacist supervision.

Prepackage medications for dispensing in accordance with regulations.

Assist pharmacists in final prescription checks, including medication staging and packaging.

Coordinate accurate and timely delivery of medications to customers.

Support inventory management : receive and rotate stock, post lot numbers and expiration dates, assist in physical inventory counts.

Maintain a clean and safe work environment in collaboration with the Technician Supervisor.

Check equipment for calibration, safety, and cleanliness.
