Unlock Your Potential in the Lab : Join a Dynamic Diagnostic Team in a Charming Lakeside Community

Overview

We are on the lookout for a passionate Clinical Lab Technician who merges curiosity with accuracy-someone committed to enhancing patient care through their work with each specimen. This full-time, first-shift position at a vibrant community hospital within a scenic lakeside locale offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact through insightful diagnostic results. You'll collaborate with a team of dedicated professionals, all supported by a comprehensive rewards package aimed at nurturing your career and overall health.

Responsibilities - What You Will Accomplish

  • Conduct both routine and complex clinical laboratory assessments-covering chemistry, hematology, immunology, and more-adhering to established protocols.
  • Evaluate results for precision, resolve discrepancies, and execute preventative maintenance and calibration on laboratory equipment.
  • Assist in specimen collection and adequately prepare samples for analysis when necessary.
  • Thoroughly document all procedures, mentor new team members or interns, and uphold laboratory standards of quality.
  • Ensure a clean and safe work environment, complying with regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a comparable allied health degree plus readiness for ASCP / AMT certification.
  • Certifications

  • ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) obtained within one year from hire.
  • Maintain current certification during your employment.
  • Skills

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal capabilities for effective teamwork with healthcare professionals.
  • Able to exercise independent judgment and problem-solving in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Outstanding organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail, particularly in quality control and record-keeping.
  • Benefits

  • Attractive salary reflecting your experience and education.
  • Comprehensive, market-competitive benefits including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance.
  • Generous paid time off beginning on your first day, as well as vacation / holiday time with experienced hire credit.
  • Ongoing educational opportunities and professional development resources.
  • A robust rewards package focused on your holistic wellness.
  • Transform Lives Through Clinical Precision

In this role, your meticulous work influences healthcare decisions and enhances patient outcomes. A single slide may validate an infection leading to vital antibiotic treatment; another might detect a metabolic issue before its symptoms surface. Your expertise is critical-it fosters the trust and reliance of doctors, nurses, and patients every day.

    Invigorating Team Spirit

This position is more than a job-it's joining a family. You'll immerse yourself in a workplace culture that prizes ongoing learning and cooperation. Invigorating lab meetings, skills refreshers, and process-improvement initiatives cultivate an environment where innovation flourishes. You're encouraged to participate in committees, suggest enhancements, and mentor new employees.

Discover a Thriving Community by the Lakes

Imagine a scenic lakeside environment with tree-lined avenues bordering glistening waters, farmers markets overflowing with local treasures, and an abundance of arts festivals. Local cafés serve as lively gathering spots, where conversations flow from community happenings to leisurely debates. Your days free from work can be spent enjoying the fresh lake air while paddleboarding at dawn or catching vibrant outdoor concerts in lush parks. The welcoming community spirit is palpable, fostering a genuine sense of togetherness-characteristics that extend to the healthcare professionals serving this area.

You'll experience boutique shopping, scenic trails, community theatre performances, and hobbies aplenty, from bird watching to running marathons. Quick commutes make life easier, providing better work-life balance than in larger urban centers. Cost of living remains manageable, allowing your earnings to cover all your interests-from rooftop gatherings to spontaneous weekend getaways and cheering for local sports teams.

    Making a Difference, Elevating Care

In this picturesque region, every lab technician is not just a worker-they're a critical component of community health. Your contributions will be felt far and wide : expedited diagnoses, improved patient care, content patients, and optimized operations. Heartfelt thank-you messages will highlight the ripple effect of your contributions to timely medical care.

Now Is Your Time to Expand Your Horizons

If you're in search of more than merely a job-if you're fueled by mission, professional development, and community engagement-this position could be your next adventure. Whether you are a recent graduate or bringing years of expertise, you will find backing, innovation, and opportunity to excel.

Ready to Embrace Your Next Chapter?

Step into a position where your precision meets a community invested in collaboration and warmth-where every lab result contributes actively to uplifting human stories of recovery. If you're eager to engage in work that honors accuracy, teamwork, and care, we are excited to welcome you into our fold.

Apply today and help mold a future where science saves lives-and where that science is fueled by humanity and accuracy.
