- Looking for an experienced Ford DieselTechnician / Mechanic as well as Ford Auto Technicians to join our Ford Service team. This position will work directly with our Shop Lead Technician and other Ford technicians on a daily basis. Top dollar for the right candidate to join our team of technicians here at Twin Pine Ford.

- Education and / or Experience :
- High School Diploma or GED (would be a plus)
- Minimum 2 years of diesel truck experience, or technical school + experience equivalent to 2 years or more
- Valid PA Inspection License and Emissions License Required
- Ford Certified (would be a plus)
- Factory Warranty Technicians (would be a plus)
- Essential Duties :
- Perform requested operations using recommended procedures, tools, and equipment
- Document work performed and applicable technical information
- Clean all parts that have been worked on and keep vehicles clean
- Maintain housekeeping and organization of personal work area
- Maintain tools and equipment
- Order parts according to dealership procedures
- Conduct final inspection on all vehicles
- Promote the sales of labor, parts, and accessories to meet customer needs
- Discuss work performed and changes with customer by telephone or upon arrival at dealership
- Maintain working relationship with Ford engineers and hotline
- Maintain department correspondence and files
- Assist other technicians on the job; provide technical information; ensure use of correct tools and equipment
- Keep workshop technical information updated. Maintain information library
- Maintain housekeeping standards in the workshop, technician’s facilities, and service parking lot
- Maintain vehicle service history files
- Ability to work with specific computer software.
- Qualifications :
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Ability to speak effectively before customers
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Ability to compute rate, ratio, percent and to draw interpret bar graphs
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
