Travel Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) jobs in Winter Haven, FL offer a 13-week contract with 8-hour day shifts in a skilled nursing facility. In this role, you will support patients recovering from injuries and illnesses, helping them regain movement and manage pain under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist. Your responsibilities include implementing treatment plans, guiding patients through exercises, documenting progress, and educating patients and families on continuing care and at-home exercise programs. You will also prepare and sanitize treatment areas and assist with clerical duties as needed.

Licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant is required, and experience in physical therapy settings with familiarity in therapeutic interventions such as massage, stretching, and assistive devices is recommended.
