- Position Overview As we continue to grow, TCAVI is seeking a patient-centered Advanced Practice Provider (APP) —either a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) —with a strong interest or background in cardiology.
- This role will be based primarily in our Gainesville offices and affiliated hospital settings.
- Responsibilities Provide direct patient care in both clinic and acute care settings.
- Manage and evaluate assigned office patients; order diagnostic tests, manage prescriptions, and refer as appropriate.
- Collaborate closely with physicians and other APPs on hospital consults and rounds.
- Conduct patient histories, perform documentation, order tests, and manage medications.
- Supervise stress tests and manage additional orders as required.
- Maintain accurate, timely care documentation.
- Stay current with CME, licensure, and hospital privileges.
- Schedule Monday through Friday, with a 4-day workweek option available .
- Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program; Board Certification required .
Cardiology experience preferred ; however, new graduates are welcome to apply .
