Construction Project Manager to bring knowledge and support to Comren's Hospitality Projects.
Duties / Responsibilities
- Be the lead on your projects, overseeing APM’s, Superintendents and project coordinators.
- Lead the buy-out process for both materials and subcontractors; create, track &distribute work / trade schedules.
- Work with field management on the development and maintenance of a two week lookahead.
- Redline submittals, create sketches and manage submittal & RFI process.
- Monitor & track long-lead material times that will affect the project schedule.
- Review subcontractor pay apps monthly. Create Prime Contract pay apps.
- Negotiate contracts, purchase orders and create scopes of work for each trade.
- Our PM’s should be able to be handed a set of plans and carry the process through to Punch.
- Interact with consultants, clients and contractors.
- Attending meetings
- Tracking change order requests (and relaying these quickly to pertinent stakeholders)
- Update project cost controls to management
- Instructional in the management of punch procedures and the punch list.
- Coordinating project close-out including : certificate of occupancy, warranty work, close-out books, attic stock turnover, final payment.
Requirements
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project and Outlook.Understanding of CSI codes (both 16 division and 32 divisions).A working knowledge of means and methods of constructionFamiliarity with Bluebeam.Proficient in Procore and Procore Financial Module.Excellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to read and understand technical specifications, blueprints, manuals, product / material installation and engineering / architectural drawings.Obtain and keep current OSHA 10 safety training.Must maintain positive attitude and always have a willingness to learn.Education & Experience
2-5 Years of relevant project management experience in fast track / occupied spaces.1-2 Years of experience being the lead on construction projects over $2mm.Associate Degree or higher preferred.
