Job Title : ICU Registered Nurse (RN) – Night Shift

Location : Weston, West Virginia (26452) – Central WV healthcare jobs

Facility Setting : Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

Employment Type : Travel nursing contract

Start Date : October 6, 2025

End Date : January 5, 2026

Contract Length : 13 weeks (6-month contract preferred; 13 weeks accepted)

Shift Schedule : 12-hour night shifts, 4 shifts / week (48 hours / week)

Guaranteed Hours : 48 hours per week

Weekend Requirement : Every third weekend; weekend block scheduling available

Estimated Weekly Salary : $1570 - $1680

ICU Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (West Virginia or compact state)

Minimum 2 years of recent ICU nursing experience

Current BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association preferred)

Ability to work night shifts and every third weekend as scheduled

Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and patient care skills

ICU RN Responsibilities

Provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU setting

Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment plans

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans

Deliver care for step-down level patients as needed

Administer medications, treatments, and interventions according to hospital protocols

Educate patients and families on care plans, recovery processes, and discharge instructions

Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR)
