Lazard is a leading global financial advisory and asset management firm with a collaborative culture and a focus on knowledge sharing and professional development. The Lazard Global Asset Management Marketing team develops and delivers strategic campaigns, drives lead generation, and increases brand awareness among institutions and financial intermediaries. The role reports to the Head of Editorial, based in New York.

Responsibilities

  • Develop clear, accurate, engaging client-ready content on global markets, investment strategies and market trends.
  • Collaborate with distribution and investments teams to identify market trends and client needs to craft content, converting Lazard’s perspectives into thought leadership pieces, emails, social media copy and digital campaigns.
  • Help ensure the consistency and integrity of investment messaging.
  • Support digital efforts by summarizing content and research into digestible formats.
  • Proofread and fact-check content to ensure accuracy and compliance with editorial and regulatory standards.
  • Tailor content for institutional, intermediary and retail investor audiences.
  • Collaborate with design and digital teams to optimize content format and reach.

Qualifications

  • 5 or more years of professional writing experience, with at least 2 years of experience in the asset management industry, investment research or financial journalism.
  • Ability to transform complex investment topics and market insights into content that resonates with target audiences.
  • Collaborative mindset with strong interpersonal skills for working across investment and marketing teams.
  • A confident, engaging, sophisticated writing style.
  • Command of investment management concepts.
  • A self-starter who can bring new ideas to the table and work independently while managing multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Support editorial operations by managing administrative tasks such as version control, content calendars, workflow tracking and coordination across stakeholders.

    Base salary range for this role is approximately $135,000 – $155,000 USD . The actual base compensation depends on factors including experience, tenure, education, and relevant skills. Base salary is one component of Lazard Asset Management’s compensation package, which may also include incentive compensation and comprehensive benefits.
