Mobile Service Technician
Stoneham Ford is looking for a Mobile Service Technician to join our growing team! We are the number 1 Ford Commercial Fleet Dealer in New England! We are looking for the right candidate that will be independent and have a strong service technician background. B-level technician qualifications and ASE certifications are preferred but not required. The day-to-day duties include traveling in the Mobile Service van to our commercial fleet customer workplaces and homes to handle basic service needs and recalls.
Qualifications
- Ford & Lincoln expertise helpful but not required
- Candidate should be independent and Strong Service Technician Background
- Valid driver’s license
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and customer service abilities
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a mobile environment

Work On the Move : Enjoy the freedom of working out in a fully-equipped mobile van, bringing service directly mainly to our commercial fleet customersAble to drive and maintain a company vehicle responsiblyTraveling in the Mobile Service van to commercial fleet customers and homes to handle basic service needs and recallsCommunicate with the Mobile Service Coordinator, Parts Department and DealerManagement regularly to effectively manage production and customer communication
Organize and prepare for the day’s appointments and be excellent at time managementCommunicate with customers to advise of vehicle issues that will require a trip to the dealership;Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and equipment to ensure high-quality service standardsMaintain accurate records of service activitiesEnsure compliance with manufacturer’s specifications and safety standards during all repair and maintenance proceduresStay informed of Ford technical bulletins and complete required trainingAccess PTS for all technician, vehicle capacities, specifications and OASIS Monitoring (searching for any FSA’s)Requirements :
Experience and training as an automotive technician. Ford & Lincoln expertise helpful but not required.Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.Strong communication and customer service abilities.Ability to work independently and efficiently in a mobile environment.Certification from a recognized automotive training program or vocational school, and / or ASE or similar certification is preferred.Benefits :
