Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details : \n

  • Work 12.5-hour night shifts from 6 : 30 PM to 7 : 00 AM

    • \n

  • 13-week assignment starting ASAP

    • \n

  • Floating and call requirements mandatory

    • \n

  • Call requirement : 2 hours prior to shift start minimum

    • \n

  • 48-hour guarantees are NOT approved

    • \n

  • Blocked scheduling is NOT approved

    • \n

  • 6-week scheduling with maximum 1 RTO per schedule

    • \n

  • RTO blackout dates : 1 summer and 1 winter dependent on department needs

    • \n

  • Patient ratio : 4 : 1 in Level 3 Trauma Emergency Department

    • \n

  • 2+ years of experience required

    • \n

  • Required certifications : ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC

    • \n

  • Preferred certifications : ENPC and NRP

    • \n

  • Full uniform required (no specific scrub color)

    • \n

  • EMR system : MedHost (EDIS)

    • \n

  • Fingerprints required for all New Mexico travelers

    • \n

  • Auto offers only - no interviews

    • \n

  • Provide comprehensive emergency room patient care utilizing nursing process

    • \n

  • Perform thorough assessments and communicate findings effectively

    • \n

  • Administer medications and monitor side effects

    • \n

  • Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education

    • \n

  • Delegate patient care priorities and supervise assigned personnel
