Our Company

Adobe Design's Research & Strategy team is seeking a Sr / Staff User Experience Researcher to plan and conduct quantitative and qualitative research informing product strategy and design decisions in the Experience Cloud product portfolio.

The opportunity

Adobe Design's Research & Strategy team is seeking a Sr / Staff User Experience Researcher to plan and conduct quantitative and qualitative research informing product strategy and design decisions in the Experience Cloud product portfolio.

What you'll do

  • Partner with cross-functional colleagues to understand and influence business goals, system architecture, and product designs.
  • Identify impactful research opportunities, assess project scopes, brainstorm appropriate research questions, and identify appropriate research methods.
  • Run research studies from start to finish, including developing a realistic research plan and materials, recruiting participants, and synthesizing data into findings.
  • Advocate for the end-user by articulating your research findings and data driven product recommendations through clear and insightful presentations.

What you need to succeed

This position is a great fit for candidates with a mixed-method user / UX research background.

Must haves :

  • A history of cross-functional collaboration and partnerships and an understanding of how user insights translate into product decisions and business impact.
  • Significant hands-on quantitative and qualitative research experience in an industry setting (UX Research, Market Research, etc.).
  • Experience with qualitative user research approaches and tools, including in-depth interviews, co-design / strategy workshops, concept / user testing, JTBD, etc.
  • Experience with quantitative user research activities and tools, including survey design, data management / analysis / visualization, R, Python, PowerBI, SPSS, etc.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex findings into compelling narratives, clearly articulate a problem space to a diverse audience and drive change.
  • Nice to haves :

  • 7+ years hands-on experience conducting, analyzing, and reporting robust quantitative and qualitative research projects.
  • Experience conducting research informing enterprise SaaS solutions.
  • Experience conducting research in the field of Generative AI.
  • An advanced degree or equivalent experience in information science, data science, human computer interactions, psychology, or a related field.

    Compensation and notices

    State-specific notices and compensation information : Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $139,000 – $260,000 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.

    At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP). In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
