Overview:
Our client, a well-established Washington-based firm, is looking for a Civil Engineer to join their growing team. The ideal candidate will want to improve our communities and build collaborative partnerships through innovative planning, design, and engineering. This is a long-term, direct-hire role based out of Tacoma, WA.
Pay range: $94,000 – $123,000 DOE

Responsibilities:
- Use your design skills on various projects, including municipal buildings and roadways, and urban infill sites
- Collaborate on civil engineering designs for site developments
- Design local road and stormwater improvements, including grading, drainage, sanitary sewer, water, and other related work
- Work on a wide range of projects that include residential subdivisions, master plan communities, and large industrial developments
- Perform Stormwater calculations, modeling, and report preparation
- Collaborate with clients, local agencies, sub consultants, and internal team members
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering required
- PE license preferred
- 4+ years civil engineering design experience required
- Proficiency with stormwater modeling using WWHM, MGS Flood, and other software required
- Proficiency with local stormwater manuals, preparing stormwater calculations and reports required
- Experience with AutoCAD and Civil 3D required
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Strong collaboration skills required
- Outstanding verbal and written skills, and experience working with staff on all levels
- Excels in advanced thinking, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
