Job descriptionEnsure compliance with regulatory standards and nursing practices. Implement and monitor quality improvement initiatives. Staff Management : Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback for professional development. Assist in recruitment, orientation, and ongoing training of nursing personnel. Patient Care : Work closely with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans. Address and resolve patient and family concerns in a timely and empathetic manner. Education and Training : Stay informed about industry trends and best practices. Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid Iowa license. Minimum 5 years of long term care nursing experience, preferably with leadership or management experience. Understanding of regulatory requirements and healthcare best practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to lead and motivate a diverse team. Proficient in computer skills, including electronic health record systems. Will be required to rotate call every fourth weekend.

The Assistant Director of Nursing will play a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality healthcare services to our residents. Responsibilities :
- Clinical Leadership :
Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to oversee and coordinate clinical operations.
Supervise and support nursing staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
Monitor and assess the quality of patient care, ensuring the highest standards of safety and comfort.
Provide educational opportunities for nursing staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
