Remote Western Based Regional Sales Representative
This is a remote, western based regional sales representative. Preferences for the candidates location would be Denver, Colorado, Salt Lake City, Utah or Dallas, Austin or Houston, Texas.
About The Position
The Senior Regional Sales Rep helps create and execute sales plans to support regional accounts utilizing an enterprise mindset to optimize profitability for the company and retail partners. Responsibilities include account presentations, collaborating to analyze / plan account's financials and in-season management. Additional responsibilities include assortment planning, assisting with projecting and tracking inventory needs and on hands for future production.

- Implement strategies to maintain and own account relationships within assigned territory. Seeks to identify and execute sales opportunities with an enterprise mindset.
- Constructs, communicates, and executes sales plans and forecasts externally and internally.
- Collaborates with cross-functional partners to support a best-in-class business.
- Gathers marketplace intelligence and consumer insights to execute brand strategy.
- Delivers compelling seasonal product presentations utilizing elevated and persuasive storytelling and directive selling techniques.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
You Are
Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the sales fieldExperienced in fast-paced environments and an ability to estimate, balance, and adhere to complex and changing timelines.Passionate about Footwear and fashion!You Have
Bachelor's degree, applicable certification or equivalent experience.Strong competency with the various tools, systems, or procedures required to accomplish the job.5-8 years of experience in sales of Apparel, Footwear, Equipment, and / or equivalent industry merchant experienceProven success meeting deadlines and sales / revenue goals in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with elements of ambiguity.Experience working within integrated cross-functional teams with the ability to establish effective working relationships internally and externally.Advanced knowledge of retail analytics.Advanced interpersonal skills, including relationship building, as well as strong persuasive speaking and proven negotiation abilities.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as proficiency with Microsoft Applications.Time management skills to handle sample lines, territory travel, tear down and set ups, while maintaining order book and shipments.The ability to travel 50% of the time.Columbia Sportswear Company is an equal opportunity employer.
