Industrial Electro Mechanics, specializing in the repair and sales of industrial rotating equipment, is looking for a highly motivated candidate to be our next 1st Shift Finish Technician. The Finish Technician is an intermediate level position that comes with training and future advancement opportunities.

Duties and responsibilities

• Safety as a core value
• Prep, prime, and paint complete assemblies and parts using HVLP paint sprayer
• Perform extensive rigging and material movement with overhead cranes, forklifts, and by hand
• Perform resin application on necessary electrical parts and oven bake appropriately
• Perform light mechanical tasks to include dismantling, modifying, and assembling equipment
• Perform inspections and testing on parts and assemblies
• Perform general production floor housekeeping duties
• Perform tasks based on written and oral instruction
• Tag parts and maintain organized work area
• Work nights and weekends as required

Required Skills

1-2 years of hands-on prepping and painting, with HVLP paint sprayer, of equipment, industrial environment preferred

Ability to work and maintain organization in a fast paced, service oriented environment

Mechanical aptitude

Valid driver's and reliable transportation

Pass a drug test and background check
