This is a fully onsite role, and a BS degree is required. About the Role You’ll be responsible for designing, maintaining, and improving the organization’s IT infrastructure across physical and cloud environments. This includes systems administration, networking, cybersecurity, hardware / software upgrades, disaster recovery, and supporting regulated (FDA / SOX) compliance requirements. You’ll also serve as a key contact for internal teams, auditors, and external vendors. Key Responsibilities Configure, maintain, and support internal / external networks, systems applications, and security configurations Troubleshoot network performance issues and maintain the disaster recovery plan Recommend upgrades, patches, hardware, and new applications Develop and communicate standards for systems usage, operations, and security Manage and implement IT hardware / software upgrades (physical & cloud) Maintain IT, cybersecurity, and FDA / SOX-related policies and procedures Partner with external auditors for ITGC / SOX testing Design, configure, and maintain LAN / WAN hardware, software, telecom, servers, switches, routers, and cabling Maintain user environments, directories, and security access Oversee vendor relationships for hardware, software, telecom, and support services Work cross-functionally to troubleshoot and resolve IT issues Qualifications BS degree required 7+ years of relevant experience Experience in FDA or SOX-regulated environments U.S. citizenship required Ability to travel occasionally to additional office locations Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills Proven ability to manage systems, networks, and vendors effectively Technical Skills Microsoft Windows environment Azure Entra Microsoft Exchange Microsoft SQL Cisco Meraki Strong understanding of cybersecurity, networking, and systems best practices If you’re a seasoned Systems Administrator looking for a stable, impactful, and highly visible role—with the ability to shape and strengthen an entire IT environment—I’d love to connect.
