Responsibilities
This position will rotate the different departments within the Shops to get experiential assignments / exposure to all aspects of the department, with an assigned mentor for each rotation.
PM Team
- Learn best practices for safe & efficient heavy equipment maintenance while working with lead PM technicians
- Perform / assist with fluid & filter changes
- Sample fluids and analyze results
- Truck
Learn best practices for safe & efficient medium & heavy truck repair and preventative maintenance
Learn best practices for safe & efficient heavy equipment repair in a field operation
Learn best practices for safe & efficient maintenance welding repairs
Learn best practices for safe & efficient repair & rebuild of paving equipment during winter
Note : Some modules may run concurrent, e.g. welding, winter rebuild, and truck repair all occur in a shop setting
