Architectural Healthcare Project Manager
Position Overview
The Architectural Healthcare Project Manager will oversee the planning, design, and execution of healthcare-related architectural projects. This role is critical in ensuring that projects meet the specific requirements of healthcare facilities while adhering to industry standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage healthcare architecture projects from conception to completion.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and translate them into functional design solutions.
- Ensure compliance with building codes, regulatory requirements, and healthcare standards throughout the project lifecycle.
- Coordinate with various stakeholders including contractors, engineers, and design teams to ensure seamless project execution.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources efficiently to meet deadlines and financial targets.
- Conduct site analysis and feasibility studies to assess project viability.
- Prepare and review technical documentation, including design drawings and specifications using AutoCAD and Revit.
- Engage with stakeholders to gather feedback and ensure alignment with project goals and objectives.
- Implement best practices for facility planning and construction management in healthcare environments.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in architectural project management, preferably in healthcare.Strong knowledge of facility planning, building codes, and regulatory compliance related to healthcare.Experience with construction management and design coordination in healthcare settings.Proficient in design software such as AutoCAD and Revit.LEED Certification and familiarity with sustainable design practices is preferred.Excellent client relations and communication skills to effectively liaise with stakeholders.Demonstrated leadership ability and experience managing project teams.Strong analytical skills with the ability to conduct site analysis and feasibility studies.Familiarity with ACHA and EDAC standards is an asset.Benefits
