⚡ Now Hiring : Field Service Engineer (FSE I) – Orange County, CA

Location : Orange County, CA (West Coast Region)

Pay : $24–$29 / hr (DOE) + Overtime + Full Benefits

Schedule : Full-Time | Monday–Friday | Day Shift (8 AM–5 PM)

✈️ Travel : Up to 80% (home most weekends)

Now, we’re looking for a Field Service Engineer (FSE I) — a hands-on problem-solver ready to hit the road, fix complex systems, and represent a global leader known for precision, professionalism, and performance.

What You’ll Do

  • Fix, Maintain, and Restore : Install, service, and repair medical, imaging, industrial, and A / V systems — the gear that keeps facilities operational.
  • Own Your Territory : Travel across the West Coast to support hospitals, labs, and enterprise clients. (Travel ~80%, home most weekends.)
  • Diagnose Like a Pro : Troubleshoot down to the FRU (Field Replaceable Unit) level using meters, schematics, and real-world intuition.
  • Coordinate and Communicate : Manage your own service calls, schedule efficiently, document reports accurately, and keep customers in the loop.
  • Represent Quest : You’re the front line — the face of our brand in the field. Professionalism, reliability, and customer care are your trademarks.

⚙️ What You Bring to the Table

  • 2+ years of field service, electrical, mechanical, or electronics repair experience
  • Skilled with hand tools and diagnostic gear (multimeter, pressure meter, frequency counter, etc.)
  • Working knowledge of A / V cabling (HDMI, Cat6, Coax, USB)
  • Solid understanding of electromechanical systems and component-level troubleshooting
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Physically capable of lifting 50 lbs, bending, climbing, and standing for extended periods
  • Organized, detail-driven, and customer-focused — you take ownership from start to finish
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and service documentation

    • Bonus Points If You Have :

  • Experience with medical, optical, or imaging equipment
  • Familiarity with Active Directory, SQL, or Wi-Fi configuration
  • CompTIA A+ , OEM, or equivalent technical certifications
  • Previous work in hospital, lab, or cleanroom environments
