We want your knowledge and expertise!Job Summary and QualificationsThe CT Technologist performs routine and specialized imaging procedures in the application of ionizing radiation in accordance with the established professional and departmental standards. The CT Tech provides high-quality computerized tomography images of the used by physicians for diagnosis and treatment. We are an amazing team, that works hard to support each other and are seeking a phenomenal addition like you, who feels patient care is as meaningful as we do. What you will do in this role :

You will compassionately assist and position patients on CT table. You will start IVs for contrast injection and when necessary. You will assess image quality and make adjustments when necessary. You will release customer with proper post procedure instructions. You will turn over and prepare room using aseptic technique between patients and clean / sterilize equipment. You will follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.

What qualifications you will need :  Must be a graduate of a program with a certificate or degree in Radiologic TechnologyAmerican Registry of Radiology Technology (ARRT) or registry eligible with completion of examination within 6 months of hire to maintain employment. Certification in Computerized Tomography (ARRT-CT) required within 1year of registry eligibilityAmerican Heart Association or American Red Cross Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.Minimum of one year hospital department experience in Diagnostic Radiology preferred. Able to accurately complete radiology examinations as ordered by the referring physicians. On Call Required and must have the ability to report to the facility within 30 minutes of call back. Research Medical Center is a 585+ bed hospital.
