Job descriptionStages preforms and supplies for each PET line in designated area Unloads raw materials and stage in proper area Monitors and inspects 1 husky injection molding machine, document any issues or concerns on end of day shift report Performs daily & weekly required Presage quality checks & Fiix Work Orders throughout shift Communicates with supervisor or lead regarding any problems, product issues, etc. Follows standard operating procedures for all operations Maintains clean, orderly and safe work area at all times Loads / unloads resin and preforms from trailers Preforms minor maintenance and preventive maintenance as required Assists other departments as needed Monitors resin and regrind room operation Monitors cap supply at all production lines & refill as needed Monitors workload of the production drivers and provide assistance as needed Rotates breaks of other production driver and / or operator positions Vacation & call in relief for other forklift driver and / or operator positions In Fall, Spring, and Winter months assists with snow removal via snow blower and salt spreader in the employee parking lot Provides any assistance to PET lines as instructed by Shift lead or Supervisor which includes breaks, major clean ups, raw materials, and in some situations filling in certain positions for the entire shift. What you’ll be working on
The Husky Operator is accountable for operation of the Husky Cap Press. The majority of the time is operating a forklift in a safe and efficient manner. Forklift experience is required and employee must be able to pass our forklift training class within 3 days after the start date. The Husky machine runs 24 / 7 and is staffed on a 2-2-3 schedule 5am-5 : 10pm.
