Overview

CTG is seeking to fill a Data Engineer – Data Integration position for our client in Atlanta, GA.

Duration : 12 months

Duties :

Collaborate with designers to understand ETL design requirements and plan ETL development activities accordingly.

Perform ETL development, establish schedules and dependencies, and conduct independent testing when necessary.

Assist in completing design deliverables, developing code bases, and performing unit testing while documenting test results.

Provide testing support during defect triage and resolution across SIT and UAT phases.

Investigate and resolve production ETL issues and problems.

Prepare production deployment plans and run books, obtain necessary approvals, and complete production deployments.

Execute performance tuning using SQL and Ab Initio toolsets to optimize ETL processes.

Skills :

Proficiency in ETL tools, preferably Ab Initio.

Strong SQL development and performance tuning skills.

Experience with data integration, data transformation, and data pipeline development.

Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and methodologies.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Experience :

Minimum 5+ years of experience in data engineering or ETL development.

Hands-on experience with Ab Initio, SQL, and data integration projects.

Experience supporting testing (SIT / UAT) and production deployment processes.

Education :

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
