Packaging and Assembly Technician (Gummi)

Reports to the Operations Department; supports production flow and assists other departments as directed by management.

Responsibilities

Maintain production flow in operational work areas.

Work cooperatively with team members.

Operate and maintain production support equipment.

Complete required paperwork and use proper documentation practices.

Confirm and document materials used in manufacturing processes.

Inspect products for non-conforming conditions and correctly label them.

Adhere to quality requirements and SOPs.

Communicate effectively with team members, leaders, and supervisors.

Support tasks related to startup, changeover, cleaning, and shutdown of work areas and equipment.

Maintain a clean, safe work area and ensure proper sanitation procedures.

Comply with all company quality, HACCP, GMP, food safety, and safety policies and procedures.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Maintain sanitary conditions for food safety.

Read, write, and speak fluent English.

Basic math skills (calculator use). Interpret weight scale readings and tape measure measurements.

Lift up to 25 pounds consistently and 50 pounds on occasion.

Stand continuously for a 12-hour shift with breaks.

Regular, timely attendance.

Pass post-offer drug screen, criminal background check, and essential functions screening.

Education

High School Diploma or GED.
