Position Highlights :

• Watauga Medical Center Emergency Department and Cannon Memorial Hospital Emergency Department (critical access hospital)
• 8-9-hour shifts w / Physician-led scheduling (12-hour shifts at CMH)
• 117 bed hospital w / 20 ED beds and critical access hospital with 10 ED beds / 10 inpatient beds
• Annual ED visits : 25,000 at main site and 8,500 visits at critical access site
• Team of 7 full-time physicians and 2 full-time APPs
• OB, Hospitalists and Pediatrics in house 24 / 7
• Surgery and Ortho coverage 24 / 7
• Cardiology, PCI & STEMI coverage 24 / 7
• ENT, GI, Oncology, Neurology, Ophthalmology, Urology, Radiology and Palliative on-call
• EPIC EMR
