The role of Building Services Lead is to provide a safe and secure facility so that patients receive quality professional services in a therapeutic environment that is safe and meets our regulatory standards for environment of care. Minimize the risk of the potential spread of infection; maximize safety for staff, patients, and visitors; and coordinate general maintenance / housekeeping tasks to meet regulatory and licensing requirements.

Responsibilities include :

• Perform lead duties of general maintenance work, including planning and assigning work schedules of facility, directing specific maintenance functions, and overseeing maintenance and repair activities;
• Ensure implementation of routine program for cleanliness of building so that the Department of Health, OSHA, and program standards are met, and patients reside in a healthy and safe environment;
• Maintain supply and equipment inventory so that automated or mechanical housekeeping tasks are performed efficiently and timely with the proper equipment;
• Arrange for needed repairs and tasks as assigned throughout the facility to maintain quality housekeeping services.

This vacancy is located within the St. Peter Regional Treatment Center, which consists of the Forensic Mental Health Program and the Minnesota Sex Offender Program.
