Salary Grade : Hourly 18 | H-18

Position Summary : The electrical journeyperson is expected to perform a variety of duties including completing all assigned work orders in a timely manner. Reporting labor, cost and any pertinent notes / information regarding all assigned work orders and return to foreperson daily. Must be conscientious, have experience in all areas of job responsibilities and exhibit good workmanship.

Minimum Qualifications :

Education :

High School Diploma or GED equivalent

Experience :

One (1) year of experience or general knowledge of the electric trade or willingness to learn

Specialized Knowledge, Licenses, Etc. :

Possess or ability to obtain and maintain a current and valid Oklahoma driver’s license with no restrictions that would preclude driving on the job

Possess or ability to obtain and maintain a current and valid State Electrician Craftsperson card

Ability to learn or perform routine preventative maintenance on all electric equipment is a plus

Knowledgeable of current city codes is a plus

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or Google Office Suite or willing to learn

Bilingual in Spanish preferred

Physical Requirements :

Ability to frequently lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted

Ability to occasionally lift more than 50 lbs. assisted

Ability to climb ladders and scaffolds
