Claims Co-op Program

At Sentry, we realize that getting valuable, hands-on experience is important for you and your career. We're looking to recruit UW-Stevens Point for our Claims Co-op program. In this program you'll have the opportunity to work part-time while attending classes and full-time during summers. Our co-op program is designed to provide you the opportunity to gain valuable experience while working in our Stevens Point location.

What You'll Do

The Claims co-op students will work closely with a mentor to understand how claims are handled.

Our Claims Co-op offers opportunities to :

• Assist claims representatives with claim handling activity
• Support internal and external customers with empathy and understanding
• Document claim files with information provided
• Bilingual support as applicable
• Access to insurance course work including licensing and designations
• Professional and Personal development opportunity
• Develop knowledge of claim handling best practices and jurisdictional requirements (participation in Basic Claims Learning)
• Obtain required licensing as needed
