Job Summary and Qualifications
As an Intermediate Care Registered Nurse (RN), you will be crucial in performing patient assessments, developing care plans, and implementing and evaluating care. Collaborating with an interdisciplinary team, you will ensure safe and effective care delivery.
Your responsibilities will include :
Creating personalized care plans tailored to individual patient needs and adapting them based on responses to treatment.Regularly assessing the effectiveness of care plans.Communicating clearly with team members, including Resource Nurses, Team Leaders, and Physicians.Monitoring cardiac rhythms and responding appropriately to identified dysrhythmias.Conducting comprehensive assessments on all patients in accordance with hospital policy.Interpreting patient hemodynamic data correctly.Collaborating with other departments for comprehensive patient care.Coordinating and overseeing patient care as needed.Reporting additional tasks as required.Requirements
Experience :
1–3 years of clinical nursing experience as a Registered Nurse (RN).Familiarity with recognizing cardiac rhythms is preferred.Education :
Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited program.Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.License and Certifications :
Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license or Compact Registered Nursing License (Texas licensure must be obtained within 90 days of hiring).Basic Life Support (BLS) certification as per healthcare policy.Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required within 90 days of hiring.Heart Hospital is known for its excellence in cardiovascular care, featuring a 72-bed facility, 24-hour emergency services, and advanced treatment programs.
