An education network in New Yorkis currently seeking a licensedPhysical Therapist (PT) to join their growing team in Westchester County on a Part-time basis. In this role, the Physical Therapist (PT) will be responsible for helpingstudents access the academic environment and participate to the maximum extent possible in educationally related activities.

Assignment Length : 2023-24 school year
Schedule : Monday to Friday(3 days a week)
Hours : 9am to 2 : 30pm
Setting : Preschool
Age Range : 3 to 21years old (Developmentally / Intellectually Disabled)
Responsibilities :
The Physical Therapist (PT) will be responsible for :
Providing screening, evaluation, and therapy services, as assigned
Participating in interdisciplinary case conferences to determine diagnosis and developing appropriate treatment plans for children
Providing consultation on issues involving effective motor development to teaching staff and other appropriate programmatic staff and programs
Providing information to families regarding their childs motor development and stimulation
Maintaining and making all records and reports available required
Performing other duties, as needed
Qualifications :
6+ months of PhysicalTherapy experience
Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy school
NYS Physical Therapist (PT)license Desired Skills :
Experience working with the Pediatric population
Previous experience in a School setting
