Pharmacy Accounting Manager
Pharmacy Accounting Manager with Opportunity for Advancement
Opportunity
Join this growing multi-state, multi business unit Long Term Care Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Distribution business as a financial leader supporting the company’s relentless pursuit of Excellence in Care and Exceptional Service. Direct oversight and responsibility for all finance and accounting functions, including strategic responsibilities for planning, implementing, managing and controlling all financial related activities of the company.
Principal Roles and Responsibilities
- Oversee accounting, finance, payroll, billing, cash collection, and cash management activities, including working directly with the billing, payables, receivables, purchasing and HR teams and other department managers from time to time.
- Maintain the integrity and consistency of : (i) monthly, quarterly and annual financial statement reporting; (ii) rolling multi-year pro forma financial statements and cash flow projections; and (iii) reconciliation of intercompany accounts, fixed asset accounts and corporate consolidation bank statements.
- Identify financial risks and methods to mitigate and moderate those risks, including maintaining appropriate levels of insurance coverage to protect business interests and reduce risk of loss.
- Work with the CEO to maintain relationships with banks, investors, and regulatory agencies.
- Collaborate with external CPA on annual tax returns and year-end financial review and audit.
- Assist in the preparation and presentation of pro-forma financial projections in support of strategic planning, financings and merger and acquisition projects.
- Create special financial reports as requested by the CEO and Board of Directors.
- Perform other related duties and special projects as assigned by the CEO.
Qualifications
Four (4) year degree in accounting or finance or equivalent from an accredited college or university. Master's degree preferred.Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred.Ten (10) years financial / accounting experience. Direct pharmacy experience preferred, but will consider prior healthcare, senior living and long-term care environment experience.Exemplary computer skills that include knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite of products, NetSuite and QuickBooks Online. Experience with Sage, Framework LTC and DocuTrack software would be highly valued.We proudly provide the following :
