Are you a tax professional ready to step into a hands-on leadership role with a growing real estate investment group? LHH Professional Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Tax Manager to join a dynamic team in Houston. This is a newly created position offering exposure to all aspects of tax compliance and strategy for a growing organization.

Primary responsibilities of the Tax Manager role include :

• Oversee and participate in the preparation and filing of federal, state, and local tax returns for a large portfolio of real estate entities.
• Manage partnership tax compliance, including review of Forms 1065, K-1s, and related schedules.
• Coordinate with legal and finance teams on new entity formations, acquisitions, and dispositions.
• Serve as the primary liaison with external advisors and auditors, with a long-term goal of bringing more tax processes in-house.
• Maintain tax workpapers, schedules, and documentation for audit support.
• Provide recommendations to leadership on tax exposures, compliance risks, and structuring opportunities.
• Support property tax, sales / use tax, and 1099 filings.

Pay Details : $120,000.00 to $130,000.00 per year
