Behavioral Health Biller
LHH Recruitment Solutions is urgently hiring a Behavioral Health Biller for our healthcare client located in the Pittsburg area. This position will be hybrid and interested candidates must live within driving distance of Pittsburg, CA - do not apply if you are NOT local to this area. This will be a full-time, contract opporutnity.
This position will be focused specifically on all billing duties for our client's MediCal program, ensuring claims are accurate, analyzing and correcting denied claims, and ensuring follow up for successful claim submissions. Interested candidates need to be familiar with MediCal processes and procedures.
Requirements
High School Diploma
Minimum 2 years medical / behavioral health billing
Must have experience working within SmartCare EMR System
Skills
Excellent written and verbal communication, especially phone etiquette
Ability to work well independently and prioritize deadlines
Understand and knowledge of DMH billing, as well as MediCal payer
Tech savvy and can work within multiple software systems
Can meet production metrics as outlined by management
Pay Details : $25.00 to $30.00 per hour
